I am in dilemma
Last friday i got a mail from Philips,Dresden regarding my student job application. Actually i have applied for this position for the first time in july, but i didn't get any reply from them. Later somehow i got Internship offer my Infineon for three months.
In the first week of December, when my mentor told me that chances of extending my contract are very meager , i started looking outside for jobs.
Since that job at Philips was not filled by that time, i applied once again and mailed to the same person but with new resume :) This time i was pretty sure that he will reply, since i have three months experience in Infineon Flash Technologies.
He replied to me that he will look into my application and will reply soon.I didn't get any reply from him for next two weeks,so i asked my mentor whether he can extend my contract or not. Luckily there were some feature requests and he told me that he will extend the contract with 16Hrs/week condition, for which i readily agreed.
Now this philips guy sent me detailed description of Job profile, which actually is about WLAN. I am very much interested to do this job, but as per rules i can do only 80Hrs/Month since i am a student and so i can do both jobs parallely :( . I hope they would allow me to work from April onwards instead of February(planned).
